Project Communication
The primary means of reporting on the various aspects of project progress and status is through weekly team meetings. In those meetings, project progress, the procurement process, and design efforts will be reviewed with the T&S team members, Lincoln Premium Poultry stakeholders, and subcontractors. As the project moves into the construction phase, we will review current work progress and preview construction activities planned for the upcoming weeks. Any issues related to aspects of the project will be addressed at these meetings.
Todd & Sargent leverages Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud) as a project management platform. This system is utilized for accessing relevant project files and for certain communications, including sending billing and change orders (if applicable). The docs module also provides a single source of truth for all project documents, drawings, and models accessible to all team members across different disciplines. Through robust file sharing, there is real-time collaboration between designers, engineers, contractors, and owners regardless of location. The T&S team is proud to use this system to streamline workflows and processes to save time, money, and deliver a great finished product to our clients.

Project Planning & Kickoff
Upon contract execution, our PM team establishes the project baseline: a detailed CPM schedule, budget breakdown structure, communication plan, quality management plan, and project risk register. A formal kickoff meeting aligns all internal teams, subcontractors, and the owner’s team before work begins.

Material Procurement & Supply Chain Management
Our procurement team leverages decades of supplier relationships across the structural steel, process equipment, concrete materials, and mechanical component markets. We pre-purchase long-lead items — conveyors, bucket elevators, dryers, bins — strategically to protect your schedule and lock in pricing before market escalation.

Schedule Management
We use CPM scheduling to manage project timelines, update and distribute schedules weekly, and proactively identify schedule risks before they impact your startup date. Every owner receives regular schedule status updates with a clear view of critical path activities, float consumption, and look-ahead plans.

Cost Control & Financial Reporting
Real-time cost tracking against the project budget is maintained throughout construction. Owners receive detailed monthly cost reports, cash flow forecasts, and change order logs — so there are never financial surprises at project close. Quality Assurance & Control
Our QA/QC program includes documented inspection and hold points, third-party materials testing where required, daily quality documentation by our field teams, and regular quality review meetings with the owner.

Project closeout is a disciplined process: systematic punch list completion, as-built drawing delivery, operations and maintenance manual assembly, equipment warranty documentation, and a structured handover meeting with your operations and maintenance team.
