Cobb-Vantress, Inc. is a poultry research and development company engaged in the production, improvement, and sale of broiler breeding stock. Cobb is the world’s oldest pedigree broiler breeding company. Since 1916 Cobb has grown into one of the world’s leading suppliers of broiler breeding stock with distribution in 100 countries. This new facility will supply Cobb’s operations in both Kentucky and Tennessee. The mill is designed to produce 3,200 tons per 80-hour week of poultry feed.

- Receiving System: 100 TPH
- Truck and future rail system will have a shared 10’ x 70’ scale, drag conveyor, and bucket elevator
- Ingredient and Loadout Storage Bins
- 15 ingredient bins to mixer – 1,200 tons
- Two pellet mill surge bins – 100 tons
- 10 bulk loadout bins – 800 tons – mass flow hopper design
- Whole Grain Storage: 40,000 bushel capacity
- Four 11’ square by 100’ high silos with steel cone hoppers
- Grinding System
- One 30 TPH system with dust control
- Batching: 50 TPH capacity
- One 3-ton twin shaft mixer
- One 16 bin micro ingredient system; loss-in-weigh style
- Pelleting: 40 TPH capacity
- One CPM 7932 pellet mill with a “hot start” conditioner, a 48” hygienizer and Geelen counterflow cooler
- Downstream Apec fat application system
