Pilgrim’s Pride is the second-largest chicken producer in the world. Pilgrim’s has the capacity to process more than 34 million birds per week for a total of more than over 7 billion pounds of live chicken annually. With their corporate headquarters in Greeley, Colorado, Pilgrim’s has operations in 12 U.S. states, as well as Mexico and Puerto Rico.

Two Receiving Systems
- Rail receiving for corn rated at 60,000 BPH
- Rail receiving for soybean meal rated at 300 TPH
- Truck receiving rated at 15,000 CFH/300 TPH
Ingredient Storage Bins
- 29 ingredient bins to mixers – 5,000 tons
- Four pellet mill surge bins – 440 tons
- 24 bulk loadout bins – 3,356 tons (dual driveways)
Whole Grain Storage: 800,000 bushel capacity
Grinding System: 120 TPH
- Provisions for future grinding system
Batching: 200 TPH
- One 10-ton twin shaft mixer
- One 20 bin micro ingredient system
- One four bin tote system
Pelleting: 140 TPH
- Two pellet lines each providing 70 TPH
- Two pellet mills, CPM 7936-14’s, each with conditioner,
horizontal cooler, and a crumbler
Support Systems
- Complete plant automation, electrical, and mechanical installation
